The book I recently read was called The Confessions Of A Backup Dancer. Its about what goes on and off behind the scenes when you are a dancer for a famous artist. Who hook ups with who and how really the artsist are behind scenes. This book i sreally intersting for the reason that you dont expect to hear things that artist really do and how they tried to cover it up by blaming others such as their backup dancers. I'll recomend this book to all those young girls that have a dream to become a backup dancer to read and think twice before taking that choice.

The book i just finished reading was called Go Ask Alice by an anonymous author. The story is about how a young high school girl gets involved & deals with drugs. The first time she got high she didnt even know she was consuming drugs. She was at a party and they had eight soda cans and four of them had acid and she happend to get one of the ones with acid and drank it, in minutes she was on a trip. Alice started seeing all sorts of colors she could even see sounds. She was on a real good trip she even ended up loosing her virginity the same night. The thing was she didnt if she was feeling good because of the sex or because of the drugs. Through out the story she expirements with all sorts of drugs and runs away from home more then twice because she always high. She eventually ends up in a asylum with crazy people after she sobers up and ends up getting druged up by kids at school.
-Ernesto Murillo Changeling is a book by Cate Tiernan. This is the 8th book in the series Sweep. The book is about a girl named Morgan Rowlands who is a blood witch descended from one of Wicca's seven great clans but has normal parents because she was adopted. She faces many challenges and problems in the last books. She is new to Wicca although uninitiated and practicing magic for only three months, she is very powerful. Morgan learns that her true father, a witch who killed her birth mother and has also tried to kill her, is planning to use black magic against the Starlocket coven . Eoife McNabb representative of the witches' council approaches Morgan to request that she makes a relationship with her father to learn more of his plot and possibly prevent it. Morgan's adoptive parents are Catholic and disapprove of her involvement so she must hide her powers from them, but their influence brings her back to the church for the "comfort and structure" it provides. The book is good but you will want to go back to the seven previous books to fill in the blanks.
-Isabel Villegas Haunted is the fifth book in the marked a house of night novel series. It's a pretty lively book because it is so detailed it makes u feel as if u are part of the book yourself. Zoey Redbird the main character of the book is always being put in dangerous situations where she is relayed on to fix things, but in this case not only does she have to save the house of night from kalona the fallen angel who has taken over but all of Tulsa. Not only does zoey and her friends have to deal with this in the book but as in the previous books zoey has gotten herself tangled in a mess of a love triangle again. -Vanessa Sanchez The book Fallen Angels is about a seventeen year old kid name Richie Perry who just graduated from high school. He decides to sign up for the army because he can't afford to go to college. When he gets shipped off to vietnam he meets four guys who are part of his squade and they become friends. They all have different stories of why they are there. They all fight together and protect each other so they could survive and go back to the normal world. At the end only Richie Perry and peewee get to go home. I think that this book is a very goal book because the way its written it makes you feel like you are in the book and it helps you understand what the! soilders in vietnam go through.
-Jesus Arzate Many of my friends had read "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold and had recommended the book to me but I had never had the chance to get around the book or seemed interested in it.
Views changed when the film had come out to theaters and seeing the film I decided to give it a try. I can honestly say that the book was WAY better than the movie. The book goes into so much more detail and description about the protagonsit Salmon, a young innocent girl who was lied to, kidnapped, raped and murdered by a person who seemed closer, than what her family or reader anticipated to be. Most of the novel takes the reader through the eyes of the protagonist, the readr feeling and living every moment Salmon goes through. Trust me this book will not be a disappointment, if you loved the movie then you will surely LOVE the book=] -Patricia Pavon The book i read was Cold as Ice it was about this kid Chris who was a figure skating athlete and wanted to make the change from figure skating to hockey but he had never played hockey in his life he had good skating skills but stick handling skills were weak, he made traveling team which is better the best team he could of made at the end he was being traneded by this african american who was really really good the African American got injured so he could not play in the chanpionship so he traneded Chris to be as good as him and the African American kid got mvp for the league but Chris got mvp for the championship game its a great book i Recomend to people to read its a great book and easy to read too!
The book that i read for this blog was the ninth book of the demonata series by darren shan.In this book it carries on from the 8th book where Cornell Fleck went missing. In this book it went on by telling how cornell fleck is the host from one of the pieces of the Ga-sha and how the ga-sha came to splitting apart into three pieces.throughout the story i read that the reason cornell went missing was that he was really kidnapped by the old beings. They kidnapped cornell to show him where the begining of time began and also to alert him that they will not win against the demonata and that they want him to stay in a planet that he will protect from the demionata.By the end of the story they defeat the shadow and escape from lord loss but bec was left behind and that is how it ends.
-Arturo Castillo CHARMED Hello, if you like to read about dramatic situations, I personally recommend you read Charmed by Carrie Mac. This book well keep you interested in it through out the whole book. You well be shocked by the way Isabelle the main character is treated by others because of her lack of knowledge. She gets caught up with drugs because she has no one to look after her, since her mother is always working and her mother prefers her boyfriend instead of her. So with no ones attention this older guy takes advantage of her, but she does not notice he’s just treating her good to later on get her involved in sex trade. He provides her drugs and later on gives her up to Barrel who is the main head of sex trade. She is fooled into all this thinking she’s helping out her boyfriend and thinking he loves her. In the house trap she meets other girls that are dealing with the same situation. Find out how these girls are treated in the sex trade house and how Isabelle escapes. Trust me this book well surprise you how she was fooled into sex trade without even knowing. ~angelica franco~ ELSEWHERE One of the many books that have captured a piece of my mind. Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin. Just reading the book captures an image that will stay with you- the afterlife. What happens when we die? Where do our souls go? Are we able to come back- from the death? Apparently for Elizabeth who was killed in a hit and run Can’t accept the fact that she is dead. I mean, she doesn’t feel like she’s dead, she sees everything as if its Normal, except when she learns the truth. Heading to elsewhere where she will spend the rest of her afterlife Liz can’t seem to get used to it. How is she supposed to live when she ages backwards? Not being able to turn sixteen and get her license, drive, go to parties, do what sixteen year olds do. Her life is just going back to where it started. There’s no point of trying to enjoy elsewhere because soon she’ll be gone and she’ll become a baby again. In the book Liz gets pretty close to her grandma, a person she couldn’t get to know because she passed away to cancer before she even was born. Being in elsewhere connects them both to a better understanding on life- the afterlife. Liz goes through so much, like trying to go back to earth, falling in love, to becoming a child again. So what does the afterlife will bring? Who knows! There’s not really someone who comes back from the death to guide us. We’ll just have to see and find out.
