The book that I read was the Cather in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. This is a very great book to read. The book is about a student who attends different schools because of his academic behavior. He talks about his life as well. My favorite part in the Cather in the Rye would be when he goes to a bar and dances with a group of girls. If you like adventures books then the Cather in the Rye is the book you would enjoy reading. The Catcher in the Rye is one of my favorite books of all time!

The book the “The Party Room” by Morgan Burke. The book is about friends who hang out and go party. One of the friends goes missing. One of the girls she’s friends with gets worried and tries to find out what happen to her. The part where the friends hang out and have fun. It reminds me of my friends and I. I liked this book and I recommend it to anyone who likes mystery. I hope you read this amazing book by Morgan Burke.
-Cristy Flores The book I read and want to introduce to you is Homeboyz. This book is about a guy named Dixon Theodore Anderson but his street name is T-Bear a.k.a Teddy. Teddy lost his sister by gang violence and he wants revenge for whoever murdered his sister. My favorite part of this book was when Teddy hacked into a school and managed to steal money during probation hours. I recommend this book to anyone who likes violence and gang relative activities. This book caught my attention because it reminds me of the neighborhood I grew up in which is Boyle Heights.

It all starts off as Brent the main character of the story also the author being the praised child. the child who is going to succeed with so many high expectations something goes terribly wrong. Brent's whole life is going to change. When something ignites it usually terribly bad, in this case Brents the one that ignites. My favorite part was when Brent poured the gasoline all over himself and raised the match in one hand. I recommend this book to whoever likes a book with a strong stomach and to those who like people who gon through so many hardships yet they still manage to succeed in life. Definitely grab this book. You wont regret it!!! -Edgar Enriquez Over the aspect of a few weeks I’ve come to finish a book called “The chronicles of Nick: Infinity.” It is a fiction supernatural book full of surprises that readers will come to enjoy. The book tells of a young boy Nick Gautier who is a average kid, he’s smart and strong willed, but his life isn’t exactly as good as its meant out to be, he has a striper for a mother and is determined to protect her, but on a faithful night Nick gets caught up with the wrong crowd as he takes place in the robbing of a elderly couple, but things go sour as his life is forever changed as Kyrian Hunter is now introduced. Nick is exposed to the true natures of the world and soon learned that life is never as it seems, he learns of his true nature and the dark powers that are within. Nick fights to remain pure along side Caleb and the gang as an evil now emerges from ground under, but little does he know the battle is not just from the outside. The battle is also deep within him.
The story creates a connection of sense of knowledge and helps build esteem as you come across the personal stories of everyone. It helps you view life in another perspective. If you’re a fan of paranormal fiction then this is the book for you! It creates a wild ride that will make sure you will surely get into the story. The moral is to proclaim, don’t ever let other people or personal conditions get the best of you, let that be the opportunity to truly shows what you really want out of life. -Beatriz Juarez The best book I have read is “ Brothers In Arm” by Paul Langan. I can easily explain the whole book, and tell you why this book is important but I’d you to read it. The big white van turned the corner, bam! Bam! Bam! Martins life changed forever. In the book “Brothers In Arm” Martin Luna is deep trouble. Just a couple months ago a horrible tragedy took his little brothers life away, and threatened to take him too.
This book will inspire you with the details they give. You can almost feel their pain. Read the book you will surely love it. -Mariel Gavilanes The book I read was called lucky by Alice Sebold. My book was a memoir based on a true story its about this 18 year old girl named Alice as she’s walking to her dorm from her friends house at 12:00am through the park she hears foot steps behind her as she try’s walking faster a man gets her and covers her mouth. She’s try’s to scream but the man tells her is she screams he’s going to kill her Alice is scared and tells the man to please not to do anything to her she tells him that she has only 8 dollars in her bag pack to take them and to let her go. The man said he didn’t want them Alice try’s to break lose she bites the man on his hands the man lets her go because his in pain she makes a run for it but doesn’t get far the man gets her by the hair and pulls her down the floor and starts beating her up really bad. My favorite part was when they are in the courtroom Alice is on the stand talking about the night she was raped in the park she was very brave. I recommend this book this book to anyone I really enjoyed this book. You will enjoy this book if you read it. -Kimberly Moreno This autobiography is called "Wayne" by Wayne Theodore who reveals gruesome details of his childhood which consist of six siblings, a cruel abusive father and a mother who didn't have the strength to help. A scene in this book that I will never forget is when Wayne's father nearly kills him when he was six years old. While his father is beating him and drowning him, Wayne makes a promise to himself that he will make it through the abuse and he will reveal his father's doing to the world. I recommend this book to anyone who likes o read autobiographies or likes to read stories of survival. This book will leave you appreciating what you have and wanting to help those in need. Desiree Martinez The book I read was ‘Gym Candy’ by Carl Deuker. The book is about a teenage boy named Mick Johnson who loves to play football. Along with Mick, Drew is a football star at his high school. Mick is the running back and Drew is the quarterback. They are best friends and spend most of the day at each other’s houses. They both wanted to get stronger so they ended up taking supplements and steroids to get bigger. They thought they could’ve got away with it but the coach ask for a physical and that’s when they started to freak out. Both ended up getting caught and were kicked out of the football team. My favorite park of the book was when it described how intense their hell week was. I could relate to that because when I tried out for the soccer team it was really intense. I ended up sore the next day just like Mick did. I would recommend the book to people who play football or to people who have the idea of taking supplements pills. Overall, this book was great. It showed how competitive Mick was and how football was his life. Unfortunately, he made bad decisions at the end that ended up costing him to not get scouted and make it to a good college and play there. His chances of becoming a professional football player were limited. This has to be my second favorite book. Great book and really fun to read!
