I just finished reading The Cather in the Rye, and it’s a book that would keep you hooked into. I recommend this book to you guys because am sure you can sort of relate it to you. We all been a difficult situation and try to escape it by doing things that don’t come to sense or are not really you, we often ignore it instead of solving it. The Cather in the Rye by J.D Salinder is a book in were a boy at age seventeen is in a stage were he is afraid to grow up. Within his eyes there’s no point of growing because one will grow up to be a phony and pretend to be someone there not to please others. Holden the main character though has many problems of his own and he ignores them and within his thoughts he thinks he acts mature when in reality his acting immature. Holden smokes and drinks Scotch to feel older and fulfill his confusions and worry into satisfaction to forget the trouble he is in. Holden was kicked out of one of the most well known best schools Pencey high and doesn’t seem to have any path for a better future. He seems to have so much hate towards everyone and to him he is the only reasonable person who doesn’t act upon others actions. Everyone to him is a phony and stupid, movies are just what makes others act fake. But throughout this hate he has towards everyone he’s a boy who different from must people these days cause he cares about the things that aren’t so valuable in life cause to him they bring more pure happiness. He has so much love for little kids because they are innocent and have yet not seen everyone’s false actions so he feels in there to take care of them. Though her little sister is the one who brings rational thoughts to him when he realizes he is setting a bad role model for her.
