The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold I highly recommend this book to the ones that like reading about mysteries and murderer. This book is basically about a young girl whose name was Susie that lived a normal childhood and one day out of nowhere encountered with a "friendly" neighbor, Mr.Harvey. When they went out to the hidden dug out place, that’s when the attack took place. She was sadly killed after being raped and badly beaten. After this happened, not only did her after life change, but the people that were already embarked in her life changed as well. Susie watched the planet Earth from heaven, and tried to help her own father unravel the secret of who killed her. He kept trying and trying but little by little, him and his wife started to loose connection and grew a distance from each other. This happened to affect their younger son Buckley, and so he kind of turned rebellious at one point. Even Susie’s own grandma came to live with Buckley and his dad after Abigail had left them both. Things kept coming up that will surprise a lot of readers, especially the very end. But the ending I won’t say, but I do recommend this book to the readers who would like to read a mystery. I believe this book can be considered as a teenage life, except the dead story-telling part, because she happens to be a teen that use to live a calm and normal life.
