The book that I reccommend people to read this time is called The Truth about Forever by Sarah Dessen. This book when I first saw it, I thought it was going to be cliche and cheesy. But as I began to read, it's much more insightful, than what you can tell by the cover, so it is true, don't judge a book by its cover. This book is about a girl, named Macy, who witnessed her father die, and she hasn't grieved properly because she wanted to appear strong for her mother, who wasn't the emotional type. At the same time Macy is dealing with a boyfriend who in her terms is "perfect", and she tries to achieve the same perfection. I don't want to give much more away so I will just tell you what I felt as I was reading this. I was suprised, I could relate a little. This book sucked me in and I was finished with it within a few days. I'm not really into fictional life stories, but this book really grabbed my attention from beginning to end. I now have a new author to add to my list of favorites.
