Unwind is one of the books that I enjoyed reading the most. It was one of the longest book I have ever finish reading. It was written by Neal Shusterman and it’s about a new way for parents to give their unwanted children away. Unwinding is when unwanted children are given away to special places where they take children apart and use all parts for transplants. The only condition about this crazy practice is that children are supposed to be kept alive during the entire process. The main characters are three guys that are to be “unwind”. Connor is the trouble maker that doesn’t like school and is always getting into trouble which makes his parents decide to unwind him and so stop all the trouble he causes at school and home. Lev is a kid that was destined to be unwind because of his religion and at first he is ok with it until he finds Connor who kidnaps him to save him from being unwinded but Nail doesn’t like it because he thought it was his destiny to give his body parts to people that needed them. And Risa is a girl who lived in a state home and was being unwind to leave more space for new incoming kids, she finds Connor and Lev in her way to the place where she is going to be unwinded and escapes along with the other two kind on a race to save their lives and until they turn 18. The book is great and I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in fiction books and that has the time to read it. I have read about 100 books during my life and so far it is the best one.
