Through out the story all things go in Lamin’s and Zion’s favor with running errands at its worst and getting rich fast. Always a dreamer lamin starts a directing business with his hustled money and quickly rises to the top. Mean while leaving Zion to take care of business by him self and little sister Olivia joins the business as well. Lucky keeping quiet and going to college. And Curtis dealing with his jealousy. I recommend this novel because it has a great detailed story coming from the character’s inner most personal thoughts that you just can’t help but feel emotionally involved as well (don’t I sound like a girl). From 1-10 I would give this book a 10 because, its just one of those story’s that when it comes to the end you just don’t want it to and really how many books give you that feeling? So yes, read it and tell your friends to read it as well.

He then decides to hide this from his father that he is a probationary superhero, knowing that Thom himself is hiding more secrets from his father. This secret of being a homosexual is the one Thom believes will shame his father far more than the League's invitation to be part of The League. Thom Creed is struggling with his homosexuality, but he's also emotionally struggling with the disappearance of his mother, the need for pleasing his father, and his desire to prove himself to the world weather his gay or not that he could be a great superhero.
Areli Flores A book I would recommend in which was one of my favorite and I found interesting was Upstate by Buckhanon, Kalisha. A story about a young couple of a guy named Antonio and his girl Natasha’s relationship. These people had thought he had gone crazy, that he had finally snapped because his father would hit his mother a lot. Meanwhile Antonio was thinking of how it was going to work out with his girl Natasha back at home he knew she would be moving on while he was in prison. But did he want her to wait for him and keep her back from moving on with herself? If you’ll like to know more about what really did happen you should read the book.
Jeanette Rodriguez The book prey by Michael Crichton is a very interesting book. Mixed with some suspense and a lot of mystery keeps the reader alert on what will happen next. The novel is about a retired computer programmer, Jack that has 3 kids and a wife, who is a vice president of a nano technology company, Julia. While Jack struggles to keeping there kids schedules and being there for them, he also faces a possible divorce because he feels that she is having am affair because she’s been absent from home from her job. Her attitude toward the children was very odd and aggressive, even the kids felt that she was different. She was sent to the hospital from a car accident that had occurred. After the accident, Jack was notified to work and help where Julia works and he accepted to see what was going on. He went off to the lab, leaving the kids to be taken care of her sister, where it was being held at Mojave Desert. What he saw was much unexpected, a swarm of nano particles that escaped from an experiment and are uncontrollable. He found his old team he uses to work with but they didn’t seem themselves, they were more or less worried. They explained that the creation they made was under the orders of the government that they created the swarms because the have intelligence of other countries making drone to see the battlefield with a camera. They also added a program so they would act as predators and become lethal to its prey. That program was only known for Jack and only he knows the code. They are self sustaining and could reproduce themselves and become more deadly each hour. They must stop this before it reaches to a global threat and become an epidemic, leaving nothing for humanity.
Joel Ramos The book A Living Nightmare by Darren Shan is one of the most creative and interesting book that talks about how to become a Vampire and it hooks you to read the rest of the books in the Cirque Du Freak series. I really enjoyed this book the most because you can imagine what Darren is going through and the decision to become a vampire assistant just to save his best friends life Steve Leonard. If I were to rate this book I would give it 10 out of 10 because the author Darren Shan describes everything and puts drama into the book like if it were to be based on a true story. This book was about a young boy named Darren Shan who ends up going to a freak show because his best friend Steve Leonard always wanted to go to one and luckily Darren ends up going because he won the ticket out of all his friends. They end up stealing a spider from one of the performers/freaks and the spider bites Steve and he ends up getting poisoned needing an antidote. Now Darren has to face becoming a vampire assistant which he is part vampire and not a full one or let his friend die because the freak was a real Vampire named Mr. Crepsley. You can say the book was touching after he fakes his own death and describes all the drama that he cannot live with his family and friends he loved to spend time the most and now he must now move on. Until he ends up making his best friend his own enemy and ends up leaving you wanting for more. This book can be described as a really interesting book with thrilling and gruesome scenes.
Fabian Olivas Doing it- the title says it all. Doing it by Melvin Burgess is a very interesting/crazy book that has a lot of crazy stories from three main characters that are going through High School as the story is taking place. Dino, Ben, and Jonathan all young teens that are going through their first experience with love & what comes with love. The problems, arguments, & confusions from these three teens only makes the book that much more interesting. These three teens all have very unique stories that they are going through whether making love for the 1st time or having a girlfriend for the 1st time-all share the same crazy side of love that normal teens go through. The whole book has crazy stories you wouldn’t believe such as Ben. Ben is very well experimenting a whole different life-this life being sleeping with one of his teachers for a couple of years. The whole thrill both the teacher & Ben loved makes this book interesting as you never know when their bond to be caught as they both have been hitting things off at school & at her very own apartment. Dino a very young teen who likes to consider himself a “stud” & hey you can’t argue due to him being able to have two girlfriends at the same time. Going out with both of them at the same time only brings suspense to the story as they get him back in a very smart and dirty way as it could mess up his reputation. Jonathan- the confused one though out the whole story is trying to figure out what love is as he is trying to decide whom he should go out with depending on attitude or looks. This book is full of surprises that young teens can relate to or could enjoy due to the suspense & excitement that these teens are going through. I highly recommend this great book.
