I’m doing a blog on a book called Artemis Fowl. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in stories about the crime boss, magic, and/or magic. The villain is the main character, an Irish lad who depends on his great intellect, and burly bodyguard. They start by traveling around the world in search of a fairy with a book similar to ‘Da Rules’ book like the one in “the Fairly Odd Parents”. Their hunt ends with a captive fairy, causing a red alert in the underworld. Then come the rescue missions and dead-end traps. Then come the desperate call for help from convicted criminals. More rescue and assault missions are made, which are foiled by the intellect of the very young boss, and the agility and strength of the body guard. Negotiations are made and forked, as well as the last desperate plan. That plan was also foiled, and nearly destroyed what both sides have worked for. Luckily, it was contained, and the fairies try one final trick to get back all they negotiated, but they never would have guessed that a human, or anything, could escape their time-stop field.
