Lucky by Alice Sebold. I highly recommend this book to the students that like to read about violence. This book is basically about a young girl who was walking home from a party and all of a sudden she got attacked. She got attacked by a man she didn't even know or recognized. He then tried to snatch her but she wouldn't budge, instead she fought back. This young girl faught back until she knew she was free. But sadly she didnt have the full strentgh to get away so thats when this creepy man performed his astonishing act with her. After everything was over she then ran back to her college dorm aqnd told her roommate/ good friend. this is when the rest of the horrifying story continues. I believe this book is fiction, includes graphic scenes, mysterious and of course violence. Due to the fact that this young girl happened to get away from a man that she thought had commited similar crimes before this one. That's why she was told that she was Lucky.
