The book I have chosen to recommend is MONSTER, by Walter Dean Myers. I have chosen to recommend this book because I think it’s a great book from my point of view. The story is based on a real life story. It is about a boy whose name is Steve Harmon and is only 16 and is on trial for a murder and robbery. He is not thee only one who is accused there are other people involved to. He tells how everything went down and how he got caught up in the mess that he is in. He also talks about how he feels to be in jail and how it really is. He also talks about how they see him and how the people don’t believe he is innocent. But I think, once you read it you’ll be hooked. It keeps you wanting to read more to know what’s going to happen next and how the trial is going. It makes you feel like you’re there and you feel as you’re involved to like your apart of what happened. I think this book would be good for anyone to read because it is very interesting and you learn a lot. You learn that not everything in life is what you plan or goes how you want it to and you just have to hope for the best. I would also recommend this book to anyone who has been apart of that or has been through it with someone that has been in jail because they are falsely accused of something. But with that being said I hope that any of you who read this blog will check out the book and like it as much I did.
