I would greatly recommend the book Hanging on to Max to everyone. I do not really enjoy reading, but this book caught my attention from beginning to end, and I am positive it will catch anyone else’s attention. The main character, Sam, is a teenager who is struggling to get through high school. In addition to the challenges he has to face, Sam has a son named Max. Sam eventually gets confused, because having to take care of Max turned out to be a more difficult task than he though it would be. He faces many life changing choices, for example whether to give up Max for adoption or not. This book relates to real life because in my school there are many students who are already fathers, and this book would help you understand how hard life can be when you have another person that you are in charge of.

If you are looking for a quick easy fun book to read then the book Double Football Threat is a good book for you to read. It is even a better book to read if you are into sports, especially football. The main character in the book is Rocky, he is in his middle school football team. His position is wide receiver, a good football player too. In the book one of his best friends, Bobby, brakes his leg, Bobby is also in the football team, he is a starting safety. Bobby blames Rocky for braking his leg. And now the team needs a safety to play for the team so Rocky steps up and takes over his position. Now bobby is not only mad for braking his leg but now is mad for taking over his position. Though out the story Bobby is trying as hard as his can so that Rocky doesn’t take over his position , but rocky tries as hard as he can to make sure he is able to play safety. In this book there are still little stories that make up the bigger story. This is a really good book to read if you are a football fan, even if you are not a fan it is a good book and you may even learn new things about football. If you need 2 quick AR point then this book is for you. This author also has many other book about different sports even other football books. I really recommend this book for anyone.Hope you like the book!
-Jonathan Contreras Shag now or shag later? That’s the question in the comedic fiction Doing It by Melvin Burgess. This entertaining read is about three close friends: Dino, Ben, and Jonathon, who encounter parental affairs, raging teenage hormones, and even a hot steamy love affair with a teacher?!? Dino is pariah of the bunch and the main character in this story who gets into all kinds of trouble and is taking through an up and down emotional rollercoaster while bringing his friends for the ride. If you’re looking for a bunch of laughs and a great book then this book is the one for you. Every single page I read kept me interested and locked in the whole way through, I hope you can truly enjoy this book as much as I did. The key is just letting loose!
-Andrew Garcia I recommend the book named Played. You should read this book because it will help you keep your eyes open when in a relationship with the boy or girl that seems to be so perfect. Just be careful because this book proves the theory that everything can be too good to be true. Once you read the first page and get to know a little more about the characters that are in the book I personally guarantee you will not want to stop reading it and plus it can teach you a life lesson that might actually come in handy.I myself loved the book so much that I read it twice!
-Adrian Ajoleza "The Lost boy" is about a boy named David Pelzer , and how he struggled in life with his abusive mother. This story tells how David struggled to find a foster home and one to stay in. He was also in search of finding the love of his mother.his father was a firefighter , but he got asked to retire early because of his drinking problem. David wanted to help him, he wanted to help so many people. He was a good kid but he got him self into a lot of trouble over the years and was moved from place to place but he overcame his naive self and became a smart young man. This story reached out to me because many young kids don't really appreciate what they have till its gone. David Pelzer didnt have a the love of his mother and suffered so much. I recommend this book to students because its very interesting and its very touching. I read this book in 1 week, thats how interested i was.
-Esperanza Hernandez The book that I read is called TTYL and the story is about 3 bestfriends,Zoe,Maddie, and Angela they are in their sophomore year and they are not popular but they have to deal with the girls that are popular.. This story is cool because some teenage girls can relate to the story. Ttyl has all types of drama example girl drama, teacher on student drama and of course boy drama. What story won’t be good with out boy drama? I recommend this story if you like to laugh at weird situation. It took me two days to finish this book and it is worth 6 ar points. Can 3 best friends really be best friends after all the drama that they go trough? Can they actually stick trough it all liked they promise each other?
-Zuleyka Flores I’m doing a blog on a book called Artemis Fowl. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in stories about the crime boss, magic, and/or magic. The villain is the main character, an Irish lad who depends on his great intellect, and burly bodyguard. They start by traveling around the world in search of a fairy with a book similar to ‘Da Rules’ book like the one in “the Fairly Odd Parents”. Their hunt ends with a captive fairy, causing a red alert in the underworld. Then come the rescue missions and dead-end traps. Then come the desperate call for help from convicted criminals. More rescue and assault missions are made, which are foiled by the intellect of the very young boss, and the agility and strength of the body guard. Negotiations are made and forked, as well as the last desperate plan. That plan was also foiled, and nearly destroyed what both sides have worked for. Luckily, it was contained, and the fairies try one final trick to get back all they negotiated, but they never would have guessed that a human, or anything, could escape their time-stop field.
-Rosalva Avalos I just finished reading the book Switched its an R.L Stine book, I would really recommend for all of you people to read it, it’s a really awesome book and it would also show you on how sometimes your mind could play tricks on you, because this book is about two teenagers that think they have really bad lives so they think that by switching bodies their lives will be better but that’s not a good solution because it all ends that it was just the imagination of one of those girls, she was pretty much dramatize of the death of her best friend but she though she was with her everyday that’s why she had those terrible visions.
-MAYRA GONZALEZ- The book i read was Holes, BY Louis Sachar. This story was an interesting. The main characters are Zero, Stanley and some guards. This book takes place in Texas, Stanley gets send to court for a fauls arrestment something he didnt do. Stanley gets send to Camp Green Lake, He thought it was going to be a caamp with a lake. Since his never been camping he decided to go but he then realized it was a desert where he had to dig holes for a punishment. I recomment this book for people that like interesting books.
